The Select Menu gives you access to the options for manipulating the
selection itself. See working with selections
to learn how to define selected areas.

The menu contains the following commands :
- Select > All : selects the content of the active object : Ctrl
+ A
- Select > None : removes a selection from the active object
: Ctrl + D
- Select > Inverse : To swap an objects's selected and non-selected
areas : Ctrl + Shift + I
- Load and Save commands : these commands enable you to save the shape of the selection.
You do not copy its content but only save the shape of it for further use. Very useful
once you've done a precise selection on a particular object. The load command will enable
you to re-open the saved selection shape.
